1. Where do you usually shoot? I shoot indoors with professional lighting in my LA loft and my New York apartment, as well as outdoors on location. Though for headshots, I prefered to shoot mostly on location with natual lighting. 2. What does looks mean? A look means changes of clothing that will convey what the actor is trying to portray (ex: business, sporty, hip-hop, sexy, high fashion). It is important to know your market when you are picking your "looks". 3. Do I get to keep all of my pictures from the shoot? Yes. You will get to keep all of your photos from your shoot. You won't have to come back and pay extra everytime you want to reprint. 4. What kind of clothes should I bring to the shoot? For headshots, clothing should be simple. It should enhance the portrait and not distract from the eyes. Bring along 3 or 4 tops, from medium to darker tone (solid color preferrable and stay away from distracting bold prints!). For color headshots, use your best judgment as to whichcolors work for you. Try to avoid loud, bright colors. 5. How long does it take before I can get my photos? Usually you can pick up your disc within four business days. 6. What if I lose my disc? Is there a charge for a replacement? There is a charge of $25.00 for a replacement disc. 7. What if I have to cancel a session? Things always come up for people: auditions, meetings, illness, rehearsals, etc..You can always reschedule for a good reason. But please give me at least 48 hours notice, or you'll lose your deposit. 8. Do you do reshoot? Since we shoot digital and you get to view your shots during your shoot, you'd get a good idea if we are on the same page. And you will able to let me know right then if we are not getting the desired shots. Therefore I only do re-shoot for technical reasons. All re-shoot requests must be made within 7 days of original shoot date. There are no refunds or exceptions to any of the above listed policies. 9. Can we meet before the shoot? I understand that this is a big investment in your career and I am here to help you take it to the next level. We can have a consultation and you can book your apointment over the phone, so it's not necessary to meet before the shoot. But if it makes you feel more comfortable, you may call to set up an appointment. |
